I commissioned Charley to do a triptych/three piece painting for me a while back, and I was so happy with the result! I gave some relatively vague ideas around style and colour palette, and she immediately understood what I was after and the result was exactly what I wanted. I also appreciated being kept in the loop throughout the process so I could see how it was progressing. I had wanted to commission Charley for a while, as she always does an amazing job on the poster artwork for the choir we both sing in, and I was so happy when I was finally able to do so. Charley’s wonderfully creative artwork has been a feature of our concert posters for some time now. She sometimes creates a piece that is unique and fits well with the content of the concert, but is equally adept at responding to a short brief – based on the music, text, or general image we want to convey.
Personally speaking, my fiancée and I enjoy her art to the extent that we asked if she would be happy creating the design for our wedding invitations. These designs are stunning and we are so happy with them – a beautiful colour sketch of our Scottish wedding venue in its Autumn hue, alongside smaller, interchangeable floral designs.
