Show Me Your ID

'Show Me Your ID' was produced for the second chapter of the Golden Thread Sketchbook Project

with the theme of Identity.

I chose to explore two different sides to the phrase 'show me your ID'. It’s open to interpretation, but I see it as an encouraging, compassionate plea. Please show me who you are, without fear of judgement. It is the passion and raw identity everyone is born with. There is some tension to it, however, with a more stern, authoritarian ‘show me your ID’: define yourself and conform.
