An abstracted landscape, inspired by the wet, boggy landscapes of North Yorkshire in the Winter and folklore of the creatures who may have dwelt there.

There is a juxtaposition between the soft, blended mist and sky and the foreboding, jagged textures in the foreground. Something wants to keep us at bay while strange things happen. Human eyes should not be witness to it.

Perhaps that is a figure in the centre. Perhaps there's another in the mists behind that, echoing the first. One viewer on social media commented that it looked as though the central figure was trapped between dimensions.
