I wanted to try to depict the feeling of the wind with this one.

I also love the colours of Autumn: the warm browns, reds and yellows against the slightly purplish grey of the sky. I like the bleak grimness of the inevitable dying away of things and the darkness drawing in.

This belongs to no time or history. I like to consider our relationship with the landscape, our ancestors and the climate through artworks like this.
