Music is very important to me and very influential in my painting. Sometimes it conjures up an entire image, as in this case... This one came from the music of Arvo Pärt.
Pärt is a minimalist composer. It was a very simple but strong image that came to mind, just a couple of shapes, clean lines, but with texture and depth.
