Angry Man

I was asked to do an image for a one-off metal track by music producer Robert Hobson. When asked what he wanted, he replied 'something like an angry man'.

When I was a student at A Level, I used to do all sorts of twisted portraits and quite horrific things, mainly because I was a big fan of Francis Bacon. Rob's request took me back to those images. I sat down with some pastels and this is what eventually emerged from the page.

I later took the piece and turned it into a simple music video for the track.
