A piece commissioned by Leeds Guild of Singers for a Summer concert poster. Inspired by lyrics from a (strange) piece by Estonian composer Veljo Tormis, called 'Tornikell minu külas'.

I love a meadow, abundant with life and hope. I like to consider what lies deep down below the showy flowers at the end of day, seeking protection in the damp roots and soil.
